We have to install git, but my computer has very little space (for why I don't know, there's nothing on it anymore except word documents and vernier graph and the lessons htmls. But it's gotten bad enough I can hardly have 4 tabs open without it complaining about 'not enough memory') so I was wondering much much space git takes up, and then how much space the documents from that would take.

You can skip that for now. You can build/view your websites on your computer. You just need to use git to put your websites online to share with others. You can wait on that until you finish the course and see if you start making websites.
